Training Center Guidelines

Parent/Guardian Accessibility:
- The contact details provided in the student profile must be valid at all times. Any changes to the details should be immediately updated in the student profile. If not, the management will not be held responsible for any consequences of communication breakdowns.
- Parent or guardian must be able to be reached by the given contact details in case of any emergency.
- The centre may call the student's emergency contact person if anything happened to the student.

Class:
- The child will be approved as student of the centre once the class schedule notice is issued to the parents or guardians and payment has been made.
- Class schedule may vary from time to time. Any change will be informed to the parents or student prior to the class.
- The student must follow the class schedule and arrive on time. The centre will not be responsible if the student misses out the syllabus due to own punctuality issue.
- No one (including parents) without permission is allowed to interrupt the student during the class.
- The parents of the student must acknowledge the teachers or the centre prior to the scheduled time if their child will be absent during the class.
- The class will be conducted as normal even during public holiday, unless specified.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances(country or city lockdown, etc), the centre reserves the right to cancel the class at short notice or to conduct the class online. No refund will be made due to the unforeseen situation that is uncontrollable by EMO center.

If the student missed a class, the replacement class is not necessary available for student. It depends on condition as below:
- If we have 2 or more classes for the same level. Student can replace the class within the same week. However, maximum 5 replacement class only is allowed per year for 1 student.
- However, if there is only one slot for the particular level of class, replacement is not applicable for student's own absenteeism, unless the tutor cancels the class. Nonetheless, please notify the centre beforehand.

Tuition Fee:
- The fees will be calculated by the number of lessons attended for the particular class as per timetable given by the centre. Per lesson basis only applies to those who enrol halfway through certain phase for their first registrations.
- Students are advised to pay for their classes within the first 2 class of the phase.
- For newly enrolled students, payment must be done before their first class.
- Miscellaneous fee shall be applied per year depends on the class level when the student is enrolled. Material fee will not be prorated.
- The lesson which cancelled by the centre will be postponed to a specific date and time. Fee is not refundable for the postponed lesson.
- Students who are absent due to personal matters are not excused and full fee is still applied.
- The fee is not refundable for any possible reason. However, the lesson can be carried forward due to unavoidable incidents but at the discretion of management.
- For payment that remain outstanding, the centre may refer the matter to a legal representative and/or debt recovery agency. In any case, the parent/guardian will be liable to pay all associated fee which will be added to their account.

Centre Liability (Physical class):
- The centre or the teachers have the right to give feedback and complaints to the parents regarding their child behaviour and performance during the class from time to time.
- The centre is held responsible if anything has happened to the student during the class session only.
- The centre offers a service to help student perform better in the school and achieve better exam grade. We are unable to guarantee success and are not liable for the outcome of any exam results or coursework mark.
- If the student will no longer require the lesson from the centre or will not attending the class anymore, please inform the centre 2 months in advance so that your place can be offered to another student.
- Our centres will be opened 10 minutes before the start of the first class and closed 10 minutes after the last class. Please do not drop off your child at the centre too early as there may be no member of staff to look after your child. It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to ensure that the children are dropped off and picked up at the correct time.

Online Class Participation Responsibility:
- Parent are responsible for student remote learning internet connection. EMO is not responsible for the internet disruption and internet facility failure.
- Each student must have WEBCAM and MICROPHONE for 2-way learning interaction. EMO will not able to guarantee the learning outcome if teacher has no sufficient visibility on student and no response can be made by student in the class.
- For 1 to 1 class, if a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the class start time or if you fail to attend the class without prior notice, the paid hour will be counted and the class will be considered delivered.
Please keep in mind that this rule is in place to ensure that both students and teacher/management have a fair and organized learning experience. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
